Get Higher by Matt Nathanson
Okay, so I went to the store today and Michelle was getting Sydney some Milk Duds and I decided I wanted some candy too. I was about to grab the regular gummy bear when I saw something better. They’re called Farley’s Sour Neon Night Crawlers ( I just really love that name) and I decided to get them instead because I just love sour candy. Now, I consider myself a fairly intellegent person so I actually do know the definition of the word sour, unlike the people who make this candy. This stuff is super sweet. They look just like any other sour gummy worms. But I guess instead of sour crystals, those are sugar crystals. I mean, these things are so sweet, that I think my teeth should probably start rotting right about now. My orthodontist is gonna love this.
Speaking of my orthodontist, I have to get braces come summer. It is going to seriously suck. I was suppose to have gotten them already, but my mom told me I could post-pone it until this summer because I’m going to be in a play next month and I don’t want to play an undercover FBI operative with braces. It’s actually a really funny play, and it’s pretty random too, which I love. It’s about all these guests in a restraunt on murder night who all are just sitting around waiting for someone to die in the first act and then in the second act, just about everyone dies, or fakes their death. It’s super hilarious. I avtually get to ounch one of my friends in the stomache after just kinda sitting there for over an hour talking. My character is supposed to be this rich older lady who just sort of tends to everyone else’s business and then at the end you ffind she’s really a cop and I get to arrest the bad guy, who actually didn’t do anything except tick everyone off. But hey, I guess if you can get a permit for murder, you can arrest someone just for being irritataing.
Has anyone ever read Kate Brian’s Private series? I have been reading them recently and I love, love, love them! They aren’t just these books about rich prep school girls who sit around talking about how their life sucks because they’re having a bad hair day. They are actually have a good story line. Like sometimes I find myself thinking I wish I could go to Easton and become a Billings Girl. In the first four books, the lead character, Reed, starts at a new school called Easton Academy and is determined to become a Billings Girl. Being a Billings Girls means a secure future and a spot at the most prestigous sorority-like dorm on campus. But Billings house is invitation only, so to become one of them she has to make friends with the most elite and powerful girls on campus. Eventually Reed gets all she could have ever hoped for and more, but she starts to wonder whether it was all worth it when her MIA boyfriend, Thomas, is suddenly found murdered. Reed eventually finds herself falling in love with Thomas’s best freind Josh. Now she has to deal with the guilt of her feelings for Josh and the fact that Thomas’s killer is still out there. But then Josh is arrested for his murder, but Reed knows he didn’t do it. But that pegs the question, “Who did do it?”. Can Reed handle the fact that the murderer might be right up under her nose? You’ll have to read the books to find out. Trust me, they’re well worth your time.

Yay for braces! At least you’re getting them. There are some celebrities (Jewel, Hayley Williams) who need to get braces but for some reason..they haven’t. But hey, it’s all good, you’re still getting them in the summer.
I remember when I got mine off..sigh, it felt so weird because my teeth were so glossy! Definitely worth the two years of maintenance!
That series sounds very interesting. Besides the social climbing part, but the murder part sounds interesting.

P.S. Your play sounds interesting! Your character seems like it might be hard to portray because you have to play two different parts. An annoying older woman & a detective at the same time. Crazy!

My orthodontist yells at me every time I go in there cause he knows I’ve had a load of candy. I don’t even chew gum, which he appreciates, just a lot of candy. (: That play sounds pretty hilarious, I’d definitely see it if I could. I’ve never read the series but I might start to, it sounds interesting.
