16 Going on 17 by Modern Music
Okay, so I want to apologize to everyone for basically falling off the face of the planet. I blogged, but I haven’t updated the site or commented my friends in a while. So thanks, Tiff, for reminding me to get my nose out of a book once and while and let everyone know that I’m not dead.
Speaking of books, I thought I’d give you and update about how the series is going. For those of you who didn’t catch my last blog, I’ve been reading Kate Brian’s Private series. Well, after the killer was uncovered, Reed decides to return to Easton and the next book picks up at the beginning of the next year. Cheyenne has taken over Billings house and has been on a major power trip every since. And to make matters worse, the Billings girls aren’t allowed to vote in new pledges because the new headmaster has chosen them already. Cheyenne is all about tradition, so she’s not going down without a fight. Meanwhile Reed isn’t too happy about Cheyenne’s osctrisizing some of the new girls in Billings or the fact that she’s trying to seduce her boyfriend Josh. Then when Cheyenne kills herself after being expelled, Reed can’t help but feel guilty. That and she keeps recieving e-mails from Noelle’s ex-boyfriend Dash that seem to suggest that he wants to be more than just friends with Reed. But just when Reed thinks that everything is falling apart, the girls of Billings elect Reed as thier new president. This opens a whole new world for Reed. She has everything at her finger tips. And I mean everything. Free money, free clothes, and free dirt on all her friends. And nothing stands in her way. And to make things better, Noelle is back. Reed starts to think things are looking up, but of course nothing lasts forever.
I hope I’m not boring you guys with all this book talk but they are just so good. On another note, I went shopping the other day. It was sort of a girl’s day out. It was me, my mom’s friend, and her sister and daughter. We’re all pretty close so it was awesome. Michele, my mom’s friend, is like my second mom and her sister Leslie and daughter Sydney are real cool. We ate a huge breakfast at IHOP. Thier were so many people there, I thought we would have to wait forever, but we got in in ten minutes. It was so good. The we went shopping in Atlanta and hit every store, but I only got a few things. I got a necklace at Charlotte Russe, some shoes from Old Navy, and a three tops on sale from Wet Seal. Then we stopped at Target on the home and I got a book called Remember Me? by Sophie Kinsella and the Twilight DVD. Woah, I guess that was more than I realized. I’ll try to post some pictures later for anyone who cares.

Wow I really need to read that series. I’ll know it all by the time you’re done reading it and by the time I get it haha. But sounds like you had fun. I love IHOP but it does take quite a while to get in. I found out last week that IHOP stood for International House of Pancakes and we had a whole debate of why IHOP has pancakes and waffles and why the Waffle House only had waffles. But in the end we realized the Waffle House had pancakes too. (:

I have to admit I didn’t read the paragraph about the book, I haven’t read it so most probably I won’t understand it. Hahaha =))
